Burn Witches - Graphite
Burn Witches - Graphite
Throughout history, the fear of witches has been deeply ingrained in society, perpetuated by stories, folklore, and religious beliefs. From the Salem Witch Trials to the European witch hunts, individuals accused of witchcraft were demonized and persecuted, often resulting in horrific executions.
However, what's often overlooked is the fear instilled by those in power who orchestrated these trials and executions. People were taught to fear the supposed witches, scapegoating them for societal ills, while the true perpetrators-the authorities and those who actively participated in the witch hunts-escaped scrutiny. This manipulation of fear served to maintain control and divert attention away from the injustices committed by those in positions of authority.
